@[120336848020990:274:Leadership Orange]'s Class of 2017 chose The Arc of Orange County’s Community Residence in the City of Newburgh for its class project. On the hottest day of the year thus far, members of the Leadership Orange class led by Paul Gonzalez and Alice Rae Kurman-Kostrubal improved the landscape, “spring cleaned” the inside of the home, washed and stained a covered porch, and detailed 2 vans used by residents of the home. Classmates along with residents of the home and Arc employees cleared brush, weed wacked, cut tree branches, mulched, planted flowers, and built a vegetable garden.

The Arc of Orange County and the residents of the Newburgh Community Residence thank every member of the 2017 Leadership Orange Class for the incredible amount of work they put into making the home a place that both the residents and staff can feel proud. A special thank you to Paul Gonzalez, Alice Rae Kurman-Kostrubal and Karolyn Thompson. Working together, while facing a number of obstacles and changes, the class led by Alice and Paul made it happen and we are so grateful for their dedication to the people supported by The Arc of Orange County.

The Arc also thanks Michelle Goudreau, Judi Davis, Kevin Hicks, Cookie Lignowski, Daquan Davis, Regina Donnelly, Charles Smith, Kevin Larragy, Billy and Michael for helping the day come together and all of the hands-on work you put into the project.

The Arc of Orange County added 78 new photos to the album: Thank you to the Leadership Orange Class of 2017 "High Rollers"!
