The Arc of Orange County is proud to announce that Cheryl Magadanz, Nikeeta Smith Rashada, and Jacqueline Lake received the NADSP Direct Support Professional Certified Level I Certification. Their years of dedication and commitment in making a difference in people’s lives is not only truly appreciated, but is now nationally recognized. CONGRATULATIONS, Cheryl, Nikeeta and Jackie, on receiving this honor!!!!

The National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) has developed a national credentialing program for Direct Support Professionals working in community human services. The purpose of this credentialing program is to provide national recognition for the contribution and competence of Direct Support Professionals who apply for and meet the credentialing standard. One hundred related instruction hours, including classroom/online learning, strategies such as skills mentoring or discussion seminars and applying the learning through a development of a portfolio is part of this NADSP accredited education and training program.
