Nearly 90 golfers turned out to support the 11th Annual Bill Volpe Golf Classic for The Arc of Orange on June 16th  at the Powelton Club in Newburgh. Domenic Baiocco, President of The Arc of Orange County Foundation Board, chaired the event to raise more than $35,000. Honorary golf committee chair, William Volpe, gave thanks to the golfers and sponsors including Relph Benefit Advisors, The Bonadio Group, Rider, Weiner & Frankel, William A. Smith & Son, Mobile Life Support Services, Wallkill Valley Federal Savings & Loan, New York Life, OneGroup, Habco, Independent Telecommunications Corp, and Charles B. Merrill Office Supplies, plus many tee and hole sponsors as well as door prize and auction donors. Healey Brothers sponsored the Hole-in-One and the winning foursome was Relph Benefit Advisors.

The funds raised will help The Arc of Orange County continue its commitment to enhancing the lives of local children and adults who have developmental disabilities. “Our tagline, ‘Achieve with us’, starts with our employees building solid relationships with each person, discovering interests and talents and then identifying projects and community settings where a person with different abilities can flourish and contribute,” says The Arc of Orange County’s executive director, Christopher Fortune. “Our goal is for all people to live as respected, valued members of the community: to make friends, have educational opportunities, develop hobbies, hold jobs, and be actively involved in their community,” he added.
